Trusted Local Cleaning Pros
Water plays tricks on you. By the time it pools on the floor, it has usually climbed a foot or two up the drywall and slipped into the subfloor beneath. In a lot of O’Fallon homes, the moisture you cannot see is doing far more damage than the puddle you can.
Getting to that hidden water early is what we do best, and ProSteam Carpet Care and Restoration tackles extraction, structural drying, and the rebuild so one local team sees the whole thing through.

For homeowners facing emergency water damage, we pull standing water, dry out basements and crawl spaces, save what flooring we can, and rebuild anything the water ruined. For business owners along Highway K and around WingHaven, we contain the mess, keep the working parts of your space open, and get you back to serving customers. Finished basement or storefront, the same crew handles it start to finish.
O’Fallon grew fast, and it shows in the housing. Most of the city is subdivisions from the last few decades, nearly all on full basements or crawl spaces, which pulls any water down into the lowest finished room. Newer builds around WingHaven and off Highway K and Highway N have finished lower levels full of drywall and carpet that soak up water quickly. Dardenne Creek runs through the area, so heavy spring rain has somewhere to go once the ground is saturated. Storm runoff backs up through floor drains, sump pumps quit mid-storm, and a January freeze can crack a line in an outside wall overnight. Homes across St. Charles County need a crew that knows where water hides.

I have owned two homes in 38 years. I have had numerous contractors and types of repairs through the years. Russell Wide is a true professional and has truly mastered his craft. I could not be happier with the carpet repairs he performed. I finally found someone who truly cares about the quality of their work. I wasn't even sure anyone like him existed anymore. Kudos and 5 stars to Russell and the ProSteam Carpet Team.

O’Fallon carries more frontier history than its subdivisions let on. Jacob Zumwalt settled here around 1798, about the same time Daniel Boone put down roots a few miles away, and the Fort Zumwalt name still runs through the school district and the parks. What visitors notice now is the sports infrastructure: the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex, a stadium built for pro ball, golf courses tucked against neighborhoods. It spread out fast and kept its landmarks intact.
From the parking lot, 18 North Central looks like any other building on North Central Drive, which is exactly what visitors keep saying before they walk in. Inside is a tactical laser tag arena built to look like a Middle Eastern village, spread across two stories, using gear similar to what some law enforcement agencies train with. Axe throwing and CyberSport Demo Ball round it out, plus a 4,000-square-foot loft for events. Hours skew toward evenings and weekends, so plan around a Saturday.
Summer nights at CarShield Field belong to the Hoots, a collegiate summer league club in the Prospect League that took over the ballpark in 2020 after the River City Rascals folded. The stadium opened in 1999 as T.R. Hughes Ballpark and seats about 3,500, with room for more when temporary seating goes in. The 2025 team went 41-15, the best season in franchise history. The season runs roughly late May through early August, so a June or July visit is the only window.
Accuracy beats distance on this public course off Turtle Creek Drive. The Falls plays 6,523 yards to a par 71 with a slope of 128, and its zoysia fairways narrow considerably in spots, with homes lining several holes. The 16th is the one people talk about, a short par 4 with a lake sitting in the middle of the fairway that punishes anyone who tries to bomb it. A driving range on site is worth ten minutes before the first tee.
Jacob Zumwalt built a log home on this ground around 1798, and when the War of 1812 brought raids to the Missouri frontier, as many as ten families sheltered behind its stockade. The fort was reconstructed in 2015 and stands as Missouri’s only rebuilt settler fort, with the restored 1884 Heald Home nearby. Lake Whetsel, dredged and restocked in 2019, has a walking path around it and allows fishing February through October. Signs at the water ask visitors to skip feeding the waterfowl.
